My Dream, My Future

Yes, each one of us has a dream. Dreams that we really hope to come true.
In two months time, I will be already graduating from high school, yet I’m still not sure what do I really want to be in the future.
When my classmates and I are talking about College Life, it makes me think deep. Oh gosh, I’m still not sure of what course I really want to take. Before, I like to take up Chemical Engineering but then, I realized that I may not be comfortable with that. Then I wanted to become a Geologist. It’s because of the shows I’m watching. Those geologists were documented during their adventures. And that made me really interested! So when I took the UPCAT, I chose Geology as my second choice of course. I’m really into it. :D
Unfortunately, I failed the UPCAT. Okayyyyy, I expected that to happen. I have choices, but I choose UNP as the university where I will took up college.  But the problem is, I cannot choose what course I will take there. Accounting? That is what my family tells me. But I’m scared. I may fail. Math hates me.  But I think, when I’m already taking this course, I might enjoy it.

I just want to be successful in life and to be happy. That is what I want. That is my dream. :">

Change: It Starts With Me

         Everybody changes for a reason.
CHANGE. One word but gives a big difference. Change affects our lives.
I want to change for a better me. I want to change my thoughts into better ones so that my actions will be better too. And so the world around me will change too. But still, there are things that I do not want to change. And I know that there are things in me that I had successfully changed.
You? Do you want to change your old self? Do you want to change for the better or worse?
Changing yourself is still in your hands. The decision is still up to you because that is your own body and life. No one should decide for yourself.
I know changing would be a lifetime process. And it is the only permanent thing here in our world!
And always remember this quote from Gandhi, "Be the Change You Wish to See in the World".
Change Starts With ME :))

New Year, New Me

Good bye 2013! Hello 2014!
Another year ended. A year full of memories – happy and sad. Memories that made me stronger. There are experiences that I will never ever forget, especially the “first times”.
New year. Do I need to change myself? Or just stay who I am today?
This year, I will study more seriously. I really want to graduate with good grades. And I hope that I will attain that goal of mine. I need to take things seriously now.
I know that I’m not a PERFECT kind of student. I’m selfish with my notes, lazy in doing my homework, lazy in taking down notes during class discussions, and many more. But today, I’m training myself to be more attentive in classes. I’m starting to turn over a new leaf. :”>

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! *cheers*

The change starts in us. Let’s change for the better.

Reflection ~ 3rd Grading Period

Another grading period will end. And there are only 3 months left before us, senior students to say goodbye to our Alma mater.
Third grading period is full of adventures that each of us made us more determined.
In our ICT, we learned how to start making a webpage using HTML and Notepad. At first, I find it hard because it is so complicated. Tags there and tags here. One mistake and it will ruin everything in your work.
But, somehow I enjoyed it especially when we were assigned to make a project regarding the HTML. My group is a perfect one. My group mates are cooperative and they listen to my instructions. All of us were determined for this project to be finished.
I discovered (with the help of Lean and the internet) how to use the Marquee and other tags.  We tried applying those tags and we found out that it makes html files better.
Many things happened this grading but I’m excited for the Fourth Grading! :))

Christmas' True Essence

"Let sing Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday
This season may we never forget the love we have for Jesus
Let Him be the one to guide us
As another new year starts
And may the spirit of Christmas
Be always in our hearts..."

There are only few days left before the most awaited day every year! But what is the real essence of it? Is it the gifts you give and receive? Is it about the food we serve and eat? Or is it about the celebration of Jesus' birth?
As the song above says, we must always remember Jesus Christ and feel His presence not only during Christmas day but every day in our life. We must share our love, happiness and care to each and everyone, not only gifts and money. Learn also to forgive and forget.
Christmas is about sharing the blessings you receive. Let us enjoy celebrating our Christmas season with our family and loved ones!
                   GOD BLESS EVERYONE! :)

Climate Change: Affecting Our Lives

Climate Change. Picture from www.unep.org
CLIMATE CHANGE: one of the worst things that may happen here on earth. All of us do not want this but because of our wrongdoings toward Mother Earth, this was made possible. And it is even very visible to our eyes.

This really affects our lives. And one proof of it was the incident happened to our fellow Filipinos living in the Visayas part, region VII especially, which was the most damaged part hit by the super typhoon Yolanda. The place was really washed out that it even looks like it was erased in our map.

Actually, this may not happen if we, from the start already did some actions to prevent it. But we chose to make it more possible by not respecting our nature. We throw garbage here, there and everywhere! Big things start from small things. Even small amount of trash may greatly affect our environment.

Even it is already late, let us move and act to help mother earth. Let us save her. Do something for her to regain its beauty. Act now. It is better to be late than never!
